Ottawa and Burlington are fourth and fifth on the list, with Quebec’s Boucherville sixth. Oakville, Ontario,
Edmonton, Alberta, Regina, Saskatchewan, and Quebec City round out the top 10. The province of B.C. doesn’t show up until number 14 with Saanich, on Vancouver Island. The Atlantic Provinces are reflected at
the earliest in the 16th spot, with Moncton, New Brunswick.
But the list varies quite a bit when talking about the best places for newcomers. MoneySense has adjusted its overall rankings for new immigrants by looking at immigrant population numbers, average rent and the unemployment rate in the cities. The top 10 cities for new immigrants are:

How are women doing in Canada?
How are women doing in Canada?
With the arrival of International Women’s Day March 8 , you may have asked yourself, “How are Canadian women faring?”
The answer is rather discouraging for all Canadian Parties and for it society.
Women continue to earn only .71 cents for every dollar a man earns, the average is even lower for aboriginal women and other visible minorities. Women under 30 make the lowest wages in Canada. The called aboriginal or "First Nations" had to support the worsted conditions in Canada, a member of the G-7 countries (part of the richest countries in the world - what ever this means).
Canada continues to lag behind other countries in our representation in government, with women accounting for only 25% of MPs in Parliament.

Kanada
